The cord tissue collection process

Step one

The phlebotomist will extract a section of tissue from the umbilical cord

Step two

The cord tissue will then be placed within a secure container for delivery

Step three

The cord tissue will be safely packaged within the collection kit

Step four

Simply call our customer care team to arrange collection of the kit

Step five

Our courier will collect the sample from the hospital and safely deliver to our laboratory

Step six

Your sample will be tested, processed and prepared for storage at our UK laboratory
