What are your core responsibilities at Future Health Biobank?
My core responsibility is to build strong relationships with members of the medical profession in order to promote awareness of this potentially lifesaving service. One of the key barriers in the UK is that the service isn’t well-known. It is my aim to try and educate as many people as possible, both those in the medical profession and the general population. I truly believe that every parent-to-be should have the opportunity to make a decision that is right for them and their family.
What is your favourite part of the job?
One of my favourite parts of the job is meeting new and different people and building relationships with members of the medical profession. For every new family that becomes aware of this service, I feel it to be a small personal victory; my dream is for every family in the UK, to be aware of the service and its potentially future possibilities.
If you could describe Future Health Biobank in 3 words what would they be?
