WHICH NIPT SCREENING IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
There are three NIPT packages available depending on the chromosomes you wish to have screened.
FUTURE HEALTH NIPT
Screens three chromosomal pairs:
21, 18 and 13
Sex chromosomes (optional)
FUTURE HEALTH NIPT+
Screens 22 chromosomal pairs including those screened in the standard NIPT
Sex chromosomes (optional)
FUTURE HEALTH NIPT+ WITH MICRODELETIONS
Screens 22 chromosomal pairs including those screened in the standard NIPT 6 microdeletions syndromes
Sex chromosomes (optional)
*Dichorionic twin pregnancies are only eligible for basic NIPT screening of chromosomes 13, 18 and 21.

THE TEST IS NOT SUITABLE IF:
- Less than ten weeks gestation.
- The pregnancy has three or more foetuses.
- You are a recipient of an organ or bone marrow transplant.
- You have received any treatment involving the transfusion of heterologous cells in the last 12 months, for example a white cell blood transfusion or stem cell therapy.
- You have cancer.
- You carry a known chromosomal imbalance (eg aneuploidy, chromosomal deletion, mosaicism)
Results may be confounded due to conditions affecting the pregnancy (i.e.: confined placental mosaicism (CPM), intrauterine fetal demise or vanishing twin or the feto-placental unit (i.e.: chromosomal balanced or imbalanced abnormalities such as partial trisomy, translocations, etc).
