Additional services to protect your family

To increase your options to protect your family’s future health, we proudly offer the opportunity to preserve your baby’s placenta, amnion, and Wharton’s jelly.

In addition, you can add exosome banking to your package as well as storing more segments of cord tissue and expanding your baby’s cord tissue with our cell culture service.

Our team of specialist scientists has researched and validated the processes to bring these services to families in the UAE.

All services are only available at the time of your baby’s birth – safeguarding their health from the moment they’re born.

Placenta Storage

The placenta is a rich source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). These cells have the ability to repair muscles, bones, cartilage, and fat tissue. Future treatment possibilities include:

• Type 2 diabetes
• Graft versus host disease (GvHD)
• Hematologic malignancies
• Orthopedic disorder
• Covid-19 pneumonia
• Ankylosing spondylitis

The placenta is collected shortly after your baby’s birth and transported to our UAE laboratory for processing.

Placenta banking is available as part of our Future Royal, Future Platinum, and Future Premium packages.

Amnion Banking

The amniotic membrane (AM) is a unique part of the placenta and an enriched source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), it has gained significant attention in cellular therapy and regenerative medicine due to its potential therapeutic benefits such as:

• Skin grafts
• Cornea disorder
• Liver fibrosis
• Spinal cord disorders
• Brain injuries
• Heart conditions

Amnion banking is available as part of our Future Royal, and Future Platinum packages.

Wharton's Jelly

Wharton’s Jelly is a thick, jelly-like substance within the cord tissue with various components including mesenchymal stem cells (MCSs), and growth factors to promote promising treatments for:

• Alzheimer’s disease
• Orthopedic disorder
• Disc disorder
• Coronary heart disease

Wharton’s Jelly is available as part of our Future Royal package.

Exosome Banking*

We are proud to be officially the only stem cell bank in the UAE to offer exosome banking, a groundbreaking stem cell storage innovation. With our in-house EXO-FUTURE technologies, Our scientists have developed impeccable isolation techniques to extract exosomes for you and your family.

Today, there are over 100 clinical trials using exosomes including many using those sourced from the plasma. These research numerous applications for exosomes because they naturally carry growth factors, and various bioactive molecules (lipids, proteins, cytokines) and have the following properties:

• Anti-inflammatory
• Wound healing
• Relieve chronic pain
• Regenerate tissue
• Regulate immune response

You can add exosome banking to any stem cell storage package.

Additional Cord Tissue Segments

Your baby’s umbilical cord tissue is a rich source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).

As standard we store 4 segments of cord tissue with any of our packages, however, you can upgrade this to 9 segments, giving you even more opportunities for transplants and/or trials in the future.

MSCs for umbilical cord tissue can appear in clinical trials for:

• Alzheimer’s disease
• Cerebral palsy
• Parkinson’s disease
• Spinal cord injury
• Stroke
• Multiple sclerosis
• Type 2 diabetes

You can add the cord tissue upgrade to any stem cell storage package.

Cell Culture

Process of expanding your baby’s stem cells from cord tissue under controlled conditions operating to GMP standards, stored and ready for if you need them for transplant or clinical trial.

You can choose to add this to any of our packages.

*Future Health GCC (FHGCC) acknowledges that any exosomes stored with us are not approved for clinical use or treatments and have no current therapeutic benefit. Anyone wanting to use their exosomes for clinical trials or research should consult a qualified and regulated physician to make an informed choice before doing so.
