Sixteen-year old Laith Abu Areesh suffers from Fanconi’s Anemia, a condition that affects the bone marrow’s ability to make healthy blood cells. The condition arises from a genetic defect in Laith’s DNA and he has been ill since it was diagnosed in early childhood. Doctors said his best chance of recovery was a bone marrow transplant but extensive searches over the years had failed to find a donor match.
We recently took some time to talk to past Future Health Biobank customer; Priya Khetani who chose our umbilical cord stem cell collection when she was pregnant with baby Neeva. Priya is from Solihul, UK and used our service last year.
We recently took some time to talk to Future Health Biobank customer; Gary Bateman. The Bateman family is from Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire. Gary has been working in the medical profession for many years. Â Gary and wife Suzanne used our umbilical cord collection service with their beautiful son Thomas in July 2015.
We are back in the office following The Baby Show held at the Excel between Friday 19th until Sunday 21st February in London and we were certainly kept busy!

“This show was particularly special for me as so many of my clients popped by to introduce their new baby’s and surprisingly their small children (who I also looked after). How time flies! It was great to hear about their experiences and they were able to share these with other families interested in learning more about our services on the day. We got lots of pictures of our happy families and I also had lots of baby cuddles too!
